50's song for Girl Scout Variety show?
I have 2 girl scout troops (Daisy's and Juniors) and the service unit is putting together a Variety Show. It is all about rock music. I was thinking Rockin Robin but someone beat me to it. :( I would like to do a 50's song with poodle skirts. Please give me some good songs.

At the Hop by Danny and the Juniors
Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley and His Comets
"The Twist" by Chubby Checker
"Yakety Yak" by The Coasters
The Hand Jive
Fun Fun Fun by the Beach Boys
From the fact that you're first choice was Rockin Robin and the songs that I remember loving to dance to, I would recommend Rock Around the Clock or Twist and Shout. I hope this helped... Have fun!
