The only rude thing I have to say is about the first comment posted by the other person. They're posting it on every question in the "pregnancy" category, and as a physician it's frustrating to see people like this waste others' time.

Yes, there is help out there! You can have her go by the SRS agency where she can file for insurance there. Not to worry, most there are accepted and have very low co-pays ($3) for visits and medications and in many situations, all visits to doctors are free! I believe the program is called Health Wave, also known as the "medical card." Also, she can apply to get the baby, and anyone else living with her assistance too!

If she would be interested in WIC, she needs to go by the health department and apply there. They offer free food and treatments in some cases to those pregnant, and free formula and supplies to those after you've had your baby. I'd say that's her best chances considering most will say she's not eligible.

Is abortion not an option for HER or YOU? Are you dictating her choices..or ready to help her? I say that you take her in and help her raise this baby. You wanna be supportive right? This is your chance. It's not as easy as saying " Abortion is not an option". So you need to go ahead and step up. A baby is not a light decision. Good Luck

did you ask the state health care provider if it matters that she is a temp employee? i was trying to get on medicaid and with both mine and my boyfriend's income it was too much even though we were barely living paycheck to paycheck at the time. I mentioned to them that i was a temp employee and they said that made a whole lot of difference and they could approve me. hope this helps and good luck

really she needs to lie she need to get in as soon as she can to know what going on wit the ba the ...every women health is a great place to go i went there when i had my daughter or go to a place that don't look at money teen pregnancy or resource pregnancy one is by the lloyd center and one is by the 8 bus line they don't charge and is a great place they can help alote...

im not sure why they deny her but insurance aren't suppose to not offer insurance its called man i cant remember but i worked for a insurance company
