What have you done for me lately? I don't recall you ever helping me achieve success.

I already pay far more taxes than you make, so why should I pay more?

At least I can say the money I earn keeps people employed, how many people do you employ?

You seem think people with money don't actually contribute to society, yet I have to wake up every morning to make sure the people who work for me still have a job so they can feed their families and pay their bills.

Is that the motive of the Left in this issue, to get some one else to pay for it?

$500K is NOT always what it seems. Most , yes most individuals making that much are not the few high profile idle rich, they are professionals with unique skills or people like you and me (or at least me) who work 7 days a week for years to obtain that kind of income, and have expenses in overhead that takes 60%+ of it away well before they see profit, IF they see profit.

It is a statement of where we are as a nation that so many individuals advocate taking as much as possible from successful, motivated producers. It indicates to me that a significant number of people have no intention of attempting success on their own, as they would not wish to have such confiscatory policies if they did plan on "arriving" some day.

easily, no. in case you look at history, the choice is authentic. right this is why. while the wealthy provide, they take the tax deduction. while the tax value iis (in basic terms for occasion) 20% and that they provide $1000 it expenses them$800. If the tax value rises to 40%, a similar givft in basic terms expenses $six hundred. So the wealthy easily provide extra while the tax value rises--using fact it expenses them much less to furnish!. human beings do save music of those issues --and in case you look on the history of charitable giving, that's what easily occurs.

The reason why they are no gong to use a tax increase on 'top earners' to pay for Obamacare is that doing this cannot raise the necessary amount of money.

The only way to pay for Obamacare is to tax the middle class. (And the tax on healthcare benefits and healthcare equipment is a tax whose costs will be directly passed on to the consumers of medical services.)

If you punish businesses too much they will leave, and Obama has been given the task of reducing unemployment. This issue is dire for him to have a chance at reelection

You can't hold both goals and expect to accomplish both.

Why do you liberals have to punish hard work and success may I ask? Isn't it their right to have the money they worked for, instead of having people being worthless and not having jobs and living off the government?

DC math doesn't add up anyway. We simply have to stop spending what we don't have and cannot possibly raise.
