Do you think Simon leaving America.......?

I honestly do think it will effect the show. I mean come on he is the one that most people tune in for. I don't think that "Anyone" can replace him. That being said i will still watch it but it definitely won't be the same without him...

In the UK we have had the X Factor for a long time and it is a better format than "pop idol".

I suspect Simon is leaving American idol to sell the X Factor franchise to another US network and make more money (or some close variant of this). I doubt you've seen the last of Simon yet.

I think hes leaving b/c american idol has turned into a big joke and he's tired of people wasting his time, i dont think anybody will be able to replace him, but hopefully ELLEN! can keep the show afloat
