well legally you can't just because you don't want it anymore but when you do just pick the reason that you put the wrong amount in, only time you'll hear anything from ebay is if you do it a lot, but just go to the item's page and get the "item number", it will be on the right side of the page towards the top, it will be in the same box as the "item location", then go to this "bid retraction" form, all you do is put the "item number" where it says and then pick your reason from the drop down menu, then lick the "retract bid".... here's the link to the bi retraction form....
