Critique my photos, i am trying to improve?

As a girl from the ATL I have to give you props for some local pictures.

Now then

You have good concept of thirds and exposure but in some of your photos I have an issue with the bluring, the backgrounds are too clear which causes my eye to wander away from the subject however that problem does get better as your photostream goes along

the thing I would mostly say is watch your cropping. I didnt look at all the photos just the first 3 pages and some otheres toward the end and I found that in some of them you cropped them in such a way that I felt there was either too much picture of that you cut something out like in photo a mans feet were cut off and in another the front of a ship was chopped making me wonder why and what was infront and being distracted from the ocean and boat and more curious.

the other thing I would say is that for the most part your pictures are point and shoot. While I think that is the tone you are going for, I do like to see creativity in pictures and although you pictures are really nice I dont see too much of anything different. I like it when photographers don't have to stage thier pictures to get a good shot, so props for that, but again creativity is a total must have must be thing

Pretty good, but i would look into editing. The camera has to use a little computer to take the wavelength and intensity to artificially create a set of dots we see as a picture in the first place. Using a computer yourself to correct what the camera didn't get right only makes sense.
