How much money does a super usually get monthly for 6 family building?
I'm thinking about taking a job as a super for a couple of 6 family houses and I have no idea how much money I should settle for? the landlord offered $200.00 a month for each building, is that a fair salary? does anyone know or is anyone out there a super?

I think it really depends on where the buildings are locate, what you're expected to do for that $200 and if you're also getting a place to live.
Some friends of mine did this back in 1984. They took care of a pretty big building in Jackson Heights, NY. The wife kept the outside and the lobby spiffed up (polished brass, swept the side walk, nothing major) and the husband did minor maintenance and repair jobs as well as hiring someone to do what he couldn't. They got a very tiny apartment in the basement and $200 a month. This supplemented his regular job as a janitor in a bank in New Jersey.
