Macbook battery calibrating question.?

When calibrating the battery of a new macbook, online it says to let it stay plugged in even after fully charged for 2 hours. Is it ok to let it sit plugged in fully charged for more than those two hours though or will that mess up the calibration?

I leave mine plugged in most of the time like a desktop. Unless I want to carry it around, I don't bother to unplug it. It still holds good battery life when unplugged.

No, it's just a minimum time. There isn't a maximum time.

However, it you are going to have it plugged in for weeks on end, removing the fully charged battery every other week will help prolong the life of the battery (one week in, one week out).

Heat and the constant trickle charging deos shorten the usable lifetime of the battery. Too much cold doesn't help either, but a week charging, then a week at room temperature seems to be a decent tradeoff for life vs hassle. Just make sure the battery doesn't get misplaced when not in the Macbook. ;>
