Windows update for nvidia graphics?

On an HP laptop with Windows Vista.

HP support updated the drivers for the nvidia graphics. All is well.

Windows Update has an optional update (not critical).

nVidia - Display - NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G

nVidia Display software update released in July,2009

Does this need to be installed or is this one of those things that causes conflicts with manufacture specific drivers?

If you can’t find the right drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you. There is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. The best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it. Perform a free driver scan at:

Also, you can get the driver from their official sites:

That means your driver lost data and your driver needs to be updated, Meanwhile, your new driver does not match with the manufacture specific drivers.

If the latest driver from the official website of the device manufacturer is not working, you can download the quusoft driver smart.

There is the detailed information in 3w.quusoft.come

I would suggest doing a system restore from before you updated the graphics card and see if that works. -- Ryan Windows Outreach Team
