How do I connect a HP printer to my computer?

Follow the instructions that came with it.

Typically that involves inserting the disk that came with it in your computer, installing the software, THEN connecting the printer and turning it on.

After that go to HP's web site and support or downloads and look up your printer and download any updates or upgrades for your computer, all the while having your printer ON and after that you should be ready to go.

Check the HP Printer website for an updated printer driver if you do not have any yet. Make sure that the printer is connected to the computer and locate the driver installation file.
