What could I do to not feel like I'm a burden on my family and boyfriend?

I'm just really stressed. I live in a town that is far away from my school. I couldn't switch schools because there was a credit difference requirement in the schools over here and it's my senior year so I can't change my plans to work for three more credits than originally planned.

I have no car. No license, no car to practice driving with, no teacher (my mom refuses to teach me), And I recently got a job to pay for driving school and start having my own financial obligations since I am 18 and my mom is no longer responsible for my financial issues. She does however drive me to school, and my boyfriend drives me to work. Yet they both constantly make me feel so bad for me depending on them for rides.

The other day my mom was going to drive me to work and she had been sleeping when it was time for me to go. And she was pissed and goes "all you care about is getting to work, don't you care about how tired I am?"

And before my job, my boyfriend paid for everything and now that I have a job he is mean whenever I ask him for help on buying stuff. I'm just really stressed out because I don't make much money at all my paychecks are like 200 at most for 2 weeks worth of work. (they don't give me many hours) and I'm just trying so hard to save up for driving school, a car, and my boyfriends birthday and it just sucks because I keep having to spend my money. I know that's life and I just need to tough it out but I just don't know what I should tell my boyfriend and mom.. they're pretty much the only people in my life besides my sisters.

Everyone just makes me feel like I'm such a burden on them and it hurts.. any suggestions as to what I can say or do?

Ask your boss for more hours. Ask your coworkers if they'll carpool if you give them gas money. Look into your local public transit system (bus, subway, light rail, etc). Consider riding your bike to anywhere that's within about 5 miles. You'll save money AND get into great shape. I've known grown adults who rode bikes to work for longer distances than that.

Talk to them, and let them know what you're going through. If your bf really loves you, he should understand.
