The Meaning of Life: Well, it's nothing very special. Uh, try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations. And, finally, here are some completely gratuitous pictures of penises to annoy the censors and to hopefully spark some sort of controversy, which, it seems, is the only way, these days, to get the jaded, video-sated public off their f---ing arses and back in the sodding cinema. Family entertainment? Bollocks. What they want is filth: people doing things to each other with chainsaws during tupperware parties, babysitters being stabbed with knitting needles by gay presidential candidates, vigilante groups strangling chickens, armed bands of theatre critics exterminating mutant goats. The final 2 verses of the book of Ecclesiastes sums it up simply - -

13 The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the [true] God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole [obligation] of man. 14 For the [true] God himself will bring every sort of work into the judgment in relation to every hidden thing, as to whether it is good or bad.

Purpose and meaning is subjective. We choose to give our lives meaning or purpose with whatever we have. Think about the statement: "One man's trash is another man's treasure." We give worth to whatever we feel has worth. My purpose in life is to try to be happy and make those around me safe and happy - my life has meaning for the sake of my future children. The choices I make effect the people around me, and that shows me I have meaning in this world. It doesn't take God and Heaven to find meaning. It's within all of us.
