Can someone suddenly become allergic to a computer?
It sounds silly, I know, but for the last few days, every time I sit down at my computer, my eyes will water till they hurt and my nose either becomes congested/stuffy or just the opposite. I've dusted the monitor off with a dry made-for-computers wipe, but my eyes hurt so bad I can hardly see what I'm doing. This has been going on for less than a month now..
What really seems to bother me is the ultra-bright white webpages of different sites. I have to shade my eyes from the glare.

Tone down the brightness of the monitor, get some cold and allergy medicines quick you are coming down with a cold.

same problem with me too.
i have a astigmatism so you probably should get your eyes tested or try some eye drops
computer eye strain is very common and one of the symptoms is burning eyes also there's dry eyes
