2000 Audi A4 Transmission Replacement?
Hey,
i have to replace my 5 Speed manual transmission on my 2000 audi a4 2.8l quattro. Now the problem is what Code is the transmission i need? Can i use any 5 Speed transmission from audi with the 2.8l quattro? Or do i need a special one for my car? Can i take one from an older a4 like from 1998 as they are the same cars? Please help me out here, Thanks
well it has 240k so i guess, when i shift it slips sometimes?

It seems that you are talking about clutch

It sounds like you just need a new clutch kit installed, if the tranny shifts good, with no grinding, throw a clutch kit in it, and drive it for another 240K

Are you sure it is the transmission? It could be the clutch... these transmissions are very strong.
