What exactly do women mean when they say, "I've had my fun, I'm ready to settle down with a nice guy"?

I think that perhaps I would agree with Capone, for while it is a woman's prerogative to be a Saint or a Slut when it works to her advantage, only a true and proper lady of high moral principles would know the right path to choose. =P

Those Poindexter guys shouldn't bother with those girls. They treat their love-life so loosely, you never know when they might just ditch you for some better catch. And there's also the possibility they're just there for your money. Best for these guys to get themselves girls who are serious and steady in their relationship; they'd be happier like that.

Relax little girls.... having fun with life without being tied down is what WOMEN mean by that. Being able to travel, party, make your own decisions, without having to deal with a boyfiend is FUN. Now s-k-a-n-k-s wouldn't normally say that because, well... they'll always be s-k-a-n-k-s, and they never stop having their kind of "fun". Marriage takes work, its practically like a business.

I don't see why you think women can't sow their wild oats just as much as men. Do you have any experience with studying interpersonal relationships? Most American adults who choose to marry choose their spouse more based on timing than on the individual. That is, no one gets married/moves in until they're ready to, no matter how great the person is that they're dating. The nerdier among us often seek partnership earlier in life, rather than sowing their oats, possibly because they were unsuccessful at casual sex and needier of acceptance. It's as much your problem that you didn't seek out flings with women who wanted flings as it is their problem that they wanted something and enjoyed it. This isn't to say that no women are golddiggers, but in that case, what they're saying isn't even honest, so why would you want to know what they mean by it?

Yes, the same ones I rejected so I could screw the bad boys. Now, nice guy after waiting 20 years of no sex from me, now you can put your thing in me, although I am the size of the Grand Canyon now after having screwed a 100 or so bad boys.

That's pretty much what it means, yes. No smart man would settle down with a woman like that after spending a lifetime being rejected by her type. But sadly, there are too many foolish men who become successful.

Women who screw the crazy, skanky guys will suffer abuse from nice guys like who turn out to be hostile after they find out a woman has been banging the gigolo-hoes.

Same as when men say it. They've done all the things you can do when single - which isn't just sleeping around, it means being selfish, spending all your money and time on you, doing what you want, not having to help or answer to anybody else, spontaneous travel, dating casually etc - and are ready to go for a committed relationship and family life.

They mean, I am getting old, my looks are fading, and I better find a sucker to support me for the rest of my life.
