Should Huet be the starting goal tender for Chicago?

Just my opinion, (and everyone's opinions are welcomed in answer)but Huet a.ka. "the man from France" just seems to be the weakest link in the chain. Unlike Niemi, he is slow to his feet and gives up too many soft goals. Anyone's and everyone's opinions welcomed.

Update:

Was not reffering to his game tonight. Just that he goes down too early and doesn't get back up as fast as others do.

I'd like to see them take him somewhere and refresh his mind. he gets mentally out of the game too often and makes stupid plays, overracts, goes down early, and stay there.

for 5 mil who would want the "french stench"?

He might be the "weakest link", but only because he's playing with a field of future hall-of-famers and Olympians. He's still a great goalie, and seems to be more consistent than Niemi is. Of course, Hiller turned out nicely last year for the Ducks.

huet is not the best starting goaltender for chicago but niemi aint much better the fact that both are just not true number one goalies but in these days with salary cap its tough to trade for a solid number one goalie u either have to draft one or sign one so ya chicago just has to hope huet could carry them

You can't blame him for a majority of the goals tonight. The team looks flat, and the real weakness of the team is the lack of physical play on defense. They are too finesse back there. They need one more physical defenseman. Two of the goals tonight was because Campbell was playing soft. Had he taken the body, those pucks would not have entered the net.

Yes he has already proved himself. I think he is a great goaltender but has hit a couple of bumps along the road.

huet sucks. why do you think everyone gets rid of him? they're only playing him to market him.

Well I think they should start I mean he has been a good goalie not perfect but I think he can help the Hawks.
