extend my wifi range?

i have a netgear wg111v2 wifi adapter and i want to extend my wifirange.... i even have a wifi router.... can anyone tell me how to increase my range using both adapter and router... can i use the router as an extra ariel or something...my wifi is without usb and even if get a usb one how can i do it....

    use linksys wifi router to extend range or use antena with your current router . u can purchase antena from market

    You have not specified where you are using the wifi and for what purpose. The range of wifi signals is of 50mtrs and if you need to amplify / increase the range then put higher dbi antenna to the router but all it will work in open space. There are other solutions also but you should provide the details of connectivity required for.

    Just put your router up in a place where there are no obstructions.Nothing other than that.you can also put it inside Coca Cola(or any other soft drink's) tin can with the aentenna exposed if it is a mini router.

    buy a good antennae for your router /modem they are available in the market...

    with the help of antiena u can maximise ur wifi length.
