Strange Computer Problem?

Okay, so my boss told me the other day her computer was all f***ed up cause someone downloaded PC Security 2009 and other Things, so I take a look at it i found Trojan.Vundo, Gamevance and some other Trojans, Malware and Spyware well after getting them off that fixed all of the problems with the internet and stuff but now the computer likes to restart soon as the xp logo pops up now heres the strange part it will do that on a warm start but not on a cold start so is it hardware or is it software problems?

i used avast free for the viruses and malwarebytes for the hard to get malware

If your boss' computer has been ravaged by different viruses and been like this for a long time, chances are some of the important files were corrupted when you cleaned it.  By the way, how did you clean it?  Did you use a utility?  Utilities may sometimes delete unrepairable files for safety sake without consideration that your system may not boot up properly after.

You can always save all your boss' files and then redo the entire system using the Restore & Recovery feature (if that computer has one) or do the entire thing from scratch.  Another way is to use the original operating system's CD or DVD and run an OS repair.

When you are saying you reinstalled Windows did you put in it over the historical deploy or did you delete, create, and layout the brand new partition earlier than putting in Windows on it ? Just putting in Windows over the usual deploy is an activity in futility as it'll now not treatment your quandary. If the quandary is program comparable just a whole wipe and reinstall will repair it.
