Do you hate freddy krueger, then why? If you hate Jason Vorhees, then why?

Freddy Krueger was the first original horror villian since Michael Myers. I like him. He talks and has a personality and has a unique story. He murdered some children and the parents of Springwood murdered him. He came back for revenge in the dreams of the children whose parents killed him. His weapon of choice is also very unique. A glove with 6 inch knives on the fingers is very menacing and his exaggerated burn scars are also frightening. The jumpe rope song "1, 2 Freddy's coming for you," is also a nice touch. It works as sort of warning for his victims.

Jason's okay, but his character is hardly original. His creator Sean S. Cunningham even admitted Jason was a copy of Michael Myers. The "Friday the 13th" movies (except for the first 4) are basically the same movie over and over again; A bunch of kids go to Crystal Lake and Jason Kills them off one by one. Jason X, Jason Takes Manhattan, Friday the 13: A New Beginning (Jason's not even in this one), and Jason Goes to Hell (he's barely in this one) are the only films that don't take place at Crystal Lake, but the same thing that happens in the other films happens in those 4.

I think jason is best. ive only seen the first elm str. and freddy vs. jason so thats why i like jason better.

I love them both. I like jason's machete and krueger's claws.
