Why didn't plants grow...(20characters)?

So, Had them in sunlight all day. They had sun as long as it was up. Watered them perfectly... not dry but not drowning. One seed in each pot... and these are sunflowers. The seeds have been planted for about two months, maybe a little less. They are inside, but at a big ol' window.

Any ideas as to WHY they aren't growing?!?!

Not all seeds are fertile for different reasons. I would give up on those and try again.

For seed germination make sure that they are kept warm...70 degrees or warmer. Cover them with a plastic cover to keep in heat and moisture. Take the cover off for one hour daily and then put it back on again. Keep the cover on them until they are one inch tall and then remove it permanently. Seedlings need a minimum of 12 hours of light daily...16 is even better.

You may have to put them under florescent lights or a "grow light."
