So why is it wrong to still bring up W, when con-jobs still whine about Clinton, Carter and even FDR?

Are not many of W's abuses still in place? Have all the problems of W suddenly disappeared? No. We're still dealing with the entire mess; it didn't magically vanish.

We still hear complaints about Clinton (not my favorite, nor do I defend him, so skip the false reductionism), and con-jobs still blamed everything on him right up until W was sent packing (and occasionally since).

How can we a a nation move past W's abuses when so many of you still refuse to even admit to them? Instead, we get the 'dictator' spin-job (which suggests an inability to critique the current prez in a fact-based manner), when W was far indisputably closer to a dictator than Obama.

The Right's failure to honestly address W's abuses suggests you merely want to resume them. Your dishonest agitprop also seems to confirm this. Are you deliberately watering down the use of the word 'dictator' because that's what you want, someone more anti-freedom than W?

"W" did a horrific job in cutting spending and creating a deficit.

However he did not cause this crisis in the housing sector and if fact tried to prevent it. However both the Repub and Dem Congress blocked him and McCain.

Blame Carter and his sitting congress for starting the problem. Blame every president and congress since then that did not fix the problem.

Don't blame bankers that were forced to take bad loans and then sold them off as quickly as possible. Blame AIG that bought bad paper (knowingly) and made a huge high risk pool out of it.

Blame the people that bought what they could not afford and then cry that they were too stupid to buy a house.

final I observed, the congress approved the wars we are battling. One after an excellent terrorist attack that killed 3000 harmless civilians. You do keep in mind 9-11 do not you? a good distance as giveaways are in touch, we had a gradually starting to be monetary gadget and occasional unemployment throughout the Bush years. The patriot act became voted on via congress and handed, it became gentle whilst in comparison with what became handed after Pearl harbor. The recession did not initiate till after the Democrats took administration of congress. So i'm completely prepared to chat approximately Bush and what the Democrats did to handicap him for the time of a conflict. How they used issues the two remote places and relatives to push a political time table.

    I agree with you 100%

Although I do think Life for the average American and small business owner was so much better under Clinton.

When GW came into power the town where I live here in the South West lost 2/3rds of the business's starting the second year Bush was in power . Now there are empty buildings every where .

I think the left should not participate in the blame game like the right does. I'd compare it to the torture policy ... we need to be the better person and be above the ridiculous statements and accusations the right does. Because when we do like they do it gives them power.

Besides, anyone with a brain can see their gameplan. The problem is all the sheep in america that gettold their opinions and are passionate about complex issues they have no idea what they are talking about.

Our political path is getting more and more pathetic and with the supreme courts latest decision to give corporations more control over our elections, it is only going to get worse.

I'd be afraid ... very afraid of the direction our country is going.

I disagree. I don't see people blaming these idiots for the state of union under Bush with one exception. Bill Clinton's policies toward terrorism was one of ignorance that actually spurred the likes of Bin Laden to pursue attacks against us. Eventually, the issue of terrorism was placed more in the hands of Bush and how he dealt with it. When it comes to issues such as spending, bank bail-outs, immigration, etc, the conservatives railed against Bush and placed the blame on his shoulders but not his alone. It's time Obama manned up and took responsibility and seek solutions instead of blame.

Gee, I somehow remember when Bush was President and you people ranting and raving over just about everything and then when we would point out that Clinton did the same thing, you'd rant that he isn't President anymore. When we point out that you ranted and raved over Bush doing something but when Obama does the same thing, or worse, it doesn't seem to bother you. I won't be addressing Bush's "abuses" until you start addressing Obama's abuses because the so-called "abuses" that you claim Bush committed are continuing, at the very least, under Obama. You will never admit that your messiah is a screw up, among other things, so save your lecture for your other liberal friends.

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it..

Even more dangerous than forgetting is falsely remembering...!
