    You don't need two passports.

You will need the permission of BOTH parents. You will have to furnish your own 2 photos. You will need to be able to write a personal check. You will have to present yourself in person at the Passport window at the post office. It takes 6 to 10 weeks to get your passport

You had to report that your old passport was lost..so that goes into

    the system...

so if you try to use the old one.. they will pull you to the side into an office

and start to question you ..

    if I were you ..

I would shred it.. dont cut it up.. shred it completely and if possible burn those pieces

you dont want to take the chance on anyone getting ahold of any part of those pages..

No you cant use it............... you can but like I said.. they will question you.

Just shred it into pieces and burn.

If you find it, according to the passport website, you are to mail it to the given address where they will destroy it for you, or if you would like to keep it as a souvenir will mark it as cancelled and send it back to you.
