How do vampires do their hair and put on makeup?

I guess you are referring to the "no reflection" part of the myth as to how they perform grooming without the aid of a mirror.

The actual physics involved are that if you can see a vampire, it is because light rays are striking the vampire and reflecting back to your eyes. If light rays can reflect off of a vampire in the first place, then they have to reflect in a mirror back to your eyes, and they would have a reflection.

In the Lost Boys, Sam looks at Michael in the mirror, and Michael starts becoming transparent, allowing Sam to see objects behind Michael in the mirror. The only way this could be possible is if Michael was actually becoming transparent to all light waves, since a mirror is a secondary reflection. Then you have to factor in mass, and the fact that light waves bend as they pass through an object - which is why a glass ball is not invisible.

Furthermore, a totally translucent being would be absolutely blind - light waves have to strike, and be stopped by, the cones and rods in our eyes to pass visual data to the brain. If those cones and rods are translucent, NO visual data gets sent to the brain - rendering the being blind.

This means that vampires, if they could exist - which they don't - would be able to see themselves in the mirror as easily as you or I.

Are you talking real modern day vampires? Or crazy people who drink blood and think they are vampires? Lets clear a few things up here first. A REAL Vampire is nocturnal yes, this is true; however a REAL vampire can walk in the sunlight. Prolonged exposure to the sun will kill them though. Not in a fiery death way like you would see in a movie, they will simply pass out and never re-awake. Vampires are not human in anyway. They were never human, nor can any human ever become one. The DNA of a vampire is EXTREMELY close to a humans. Only highly complex lab test would show otherwise. Think about this logically you would have to know you have a vampire on your slab before ordering those test. The chances of a Doctor stumbling across one is slim to none. A REAL Vampire is very very rare. Also if a Doctor were to ever think he had a vampire on his slap and mention it to anyone? He would be called crazy and locked up before he had a chance to perform the required test. I mean who would listen to him? Thank god for living in a "world of doubt". Vampires were talked about in the old days yes. It was not a time of medication, doubt, and the so called scientific mind. People were more inclined the except the idea of the existence of a being greater then their own. Unlike the world today. So if you ask me, it is easier for Vampires to slip into the woodwork now days then ever before. On another note, no REAL vampire will ever admit to being one online or anywhere else. Lastly for those of you who drink blood and claim to be a Vampire when you are not and dress in goth? Do the world a favor, get some mental help or simply kill your self I mean I am sure you piss the real deal off to high hell.

i could watch the Michelle Phan video on youtube approximately vampire makeup, she's fricken stunning. stick to dark eyeshadows, dont do the spiderweb issues it wont paintings and if it ultimately does that's going to look unusual. comparable element with nails, a deep crimson or army blue/ black could look neat. and bypass away hair organic it flatters you terrific!

But if in reality there are vampire's they probably use blood of the victim to do their hair. They could also use Set Wet style to do their hair. If you believe in vampires try asking one the next time you see them.

well as far as the Movie vampires of course they have someone to do their hair and make up for them, but as far as sanguines well that's another story all together. pretty much like anyone else i guess.

they just use human blood as gel to smooth their hair down
