How do you pick a good motorcycle school? Anyone know of any around Staten Island, NY?

I would like to get my boyfriend motorcycle lessons for a gift but I have no idea how to go about picking out a reputable school. Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any in the Staten Island, NY area?

Update:

I'm looking for a beginners school. He knows nothing about riding motorcycles but really wants to learn.

Update 2:

I would also like to get him a gift certificate. Do driving schools offer those?

    The Motorcycle Safety Foundation teaches thousands of new riders every year, and have had some excellent reviews. Many states accept completion of the MSF New Riders classes as the road test for licensing. Two-day weekend classes are available in many locations.

    i am not from new york, but you can check out riders edge. go to where they sell bikes and they can help. they will know what you talking about.
