My girlfriend just started birth control and we have a problem?

Aside from having peace of mind, we are having trouble enjoying sex.

She can not produce vaginal lubricant on her own. Which we can deal with with the use of KY Jelly. Also she can not finish-- have an orgasm.

She says she fine with that... (Crazy right?) But I do not think it is fair. I can not enjoy sex as much if it is one sided like that. I want to have the satisfaction of seeing her finish.

Before we started this, these problems were nonexistent. I have tried different things, and we have both decided there is something biological in the works. Any ideas? She is already on a very low dose of birth control.

We have explored alternate methods, but she does not like them as much...

Thank you for your help and advice.

I had this issue myself when i was first put on birth control. Loss of Sex drive and dryness is not the most frequent side effect but it does happen. I switched my prescription and everything went back to normal.

The pill must be affecting her, yet she threw up hours after she took that pill, so the hormones have been already absorbed into her physique. this may be her physique's way of telling her that this specific pill isn't suitable for her although. beginning administration pills could be no longer person-friendly as a results of fact they influence each woman in any different case. She could in all threat bypass returned to the customary practitioner to talk the reaction, and attempt a different pill. ideally one with the backside dose of hormones a possibility. She additionally could take her pill after she eats. She shouldn't take it on an empty abdomen, it's going to be extra in all threat to make her unwell.

I have never heard of birth control pills having that type of effect on anyone.

I strongly suggest seeing her doctor.
