I've tried everything so how do I get rid of fleas in the yard?

I've tried store bought stuff and home remedies, but nothing seems to work. We just had a three day freeze here in my part of Texas. It killed everything in my yard except the fleas. I vacuum my house regularly with moth balls in the bag. My little Min Pin is bathed in Dawn dish liquid and store bought stuff, but we still find them on him. Please help, I'll try anything at this point. Thank you for any help you can give me.

I had a terrible problem with critters in my lawn. I tried a lot of different things. The one that worked was Malathion. Buy a 1 gallon sprayer, a bottle of malathion in the gardening section and mix according to directions. It works right away. If you have pets, keep them off the lawn until it dries thoroughly. I would do this once a week for at least three weeks so you kill the new ones when they hatch out. You won't regret it. Good luck!

Frontline is the no.a million flea and tick prevention and to rid the fleas treatment availible. it would want to be bought from pets at domicile. it truly is a treatment you position on the lower back of their neck once a month and prevents them from getting them it truly is going to also kill any they already have. also i do no longer advise to sound own yet your position might want to have fleas in the carpets or the cats mattress or snoozing section so once you're taking care of them they in simple terms get extra. i might want to recommend you to apply frontline if that does no longer paintings i might want to seek for suggestion from a vet because the fleas might want to reason serious outcomes to you cats wellbeing. also they could furnish you with a high-quality flea shampoo to bathe you cat in to rid of the fleas. also like a grooming parlour for canines there are some around the country for cats which maximum do furnish a treatment for flea infestited cats.

I've bombed the house, sprayed the fabric furniture, sprayed the lawn, washed the pets. Throw away the bag from the vacuum cleaner. Repeat in two weeks and again in another two weeks. That worked for me. Then buy flea collars for the pets or use that stuff you drip on the neck once a month.

You require two weeks of below freezing weather to stop fleas till spring thaw brings them back. To stop flea infestation, you need to have your pup treated with 'advantage multi' or something similar that you will get from your vet to be applied monthly. Talk to your vet and you will get a simple solution to your problem.

Try sprinkling TSP in the yard. Don't water for a day. You can find TSP at Walmart or Home Depot.
