Hi, how exciting! I'd wait until something catches your eyes. There will be people dressed all different ways, so don't try to fit in...express yourself!
My motto for any occasion: dress for the occasion, not the location.
Also, choose one thing to show off, ie: your legs, back, arms, whatever you want...but don't over do it and show off your everywhere. Just choose one body party.
First, think black tights with a dress, since it's winter and the black legs will totally add to the outfit!
With your green eyes, this dress could look super pretty with black tights!
