Parental Controls on Router?
Can I set parental controls on my router instead of going to each of my computers and setting it up. I have a linksys router, I'd like to only have to do it once. Also say I can set it up on my linksys do the parental controls apply to the ipod touches internet right?

Option 1) Look at OpenDNS. You can set filters there. You go in to your router's config page and set it up to use their DNS servers. Easily circumvented if your children change the DNS to google's or verizon's DNS servers.
Option 2) Investigate loading DD-WRT or Tomato on your wireless router. It will give you more functionality than the current firmware

Well I have a verizon wireless router and it allows me to block websites that I wouldn't want young children to see, I don't know much about linksys, but you may try checking out the settings by typping 192.168.1.1 in your web browser the default admin is left blank and the password is admin, I hope you are able to find any setting that will allow you to set some restrictions.
Good Luck !

You can change the WLAN or whatever password system you use password. That will prevent people from using your network without knowing the password. You could also block certain IPs, not sure if LinkSys does that though.
I Recommend just doing it with the computers.
