Best will be to have an independent second diagnosis. If the advice is same then it will be better to go to the same doctor who did the surgery. Also while seeking second diagnosis ask the doctor, what role if any the diabetes is playing in the pain felt while walking. Take all your pre and post operative reports with you.

There should be two independent doctors involved in/with your condition, first a Cardiologist does the CT angiogram and reports his findings to you and the Heart Surgeon who does the bypass operation. If this is not what's going on in your case then I am unable to give any advise. Let me just tell you that while I was in cardiac rehab (after my bypass surgery) there were a couple patients that had trouble same as you are describing (this is very bad luck). Hope they are able to correct your situation.

Don't be stressed about the surgery, it can be due to gastritis caused by the medications which you must be taking or it can be due to weak nerves which is usually seen in diabetics. consult your family doctor first and take his advice and do accordingly.

visit the same doctor, do as he advised and ask him about the results, you have the right to ask this and for a second opinion. pls tell me the subsequent results.

  • well

pain is ischemic, you need to do :

Cardiologist consultation : for proper evaluation Surgeon is not Cardiologist

    Stress ECG

Next to do is depending on the results
