Will Heads Roll in Vikings Organization?

Ok, seriously.... Favre was brought to the Vikings to WIN the Super Bowl this season and to get back at the Packers for letting him go. From what I get out of this is that Brad Childress never wanted Favre to begin with and was forced into working with him and second, now that the Vikings won't be going to the Super Bowl who in the Vikings organization will take the blame for it? I really think Brad Childress will. Not right away but somethings coming down. We all knew that Brad and Favre didn't like each other and that Favre ran that team so do u think it would be fair to punish Childress for this choke of a QB which Favre proved to be once again?

I think the Vikings will stay as is, of course Favre will have his usual "do you love me enough" face this summer with another team courting his services. I have to wonder about a team where the QB dictates when he gets taken out, and a running back gets pulled from the game Sunday night, and questions the coach, "why did you take me out?" You could read Peterson's lips asking that. Who exactly is running that team? Not a coach if players question every little move.

Why would heads roll? This is the best season they had since 1999. They were a possession away from going to the Super Bowl. Brad Childress personally called Favre to come QB the Vikings so that shows your lack of knowledge right there. Quit being a Drama Queen.

I don't see Childress getting in any trouble over this. If the pattern continues like it since Childress took over, next year should be the year the Vikings make the Super Bowl. They have improved year after year under Childress, and the Super Bowl is the next step in improvement.

But then again, they are the Vikings, and have been known to choke when it really matters.

I wouldn't punish Childress. They made it to the NFC Championship. They normally don't do that. He should be rewarded for doing that good. A lot of other teams would like to be in his shoes right now. I'd be hoping for Favre to come back for 1 more year if I was Childress.

Why should any heads role when it was the players who choked yesterday? You can't blame coaches for how players perform on the field. I knew last summer the odds of Favre choking come playoff time were very high and I was right.

No, they have a good team. Favre is still the best possible quarterback they can hold onto. Unless they can get Curt Warner!
