How do I extend a question?

I got the notice "you may want to extend" but when I go into the question I find no place to extend it. Help please.

    Its simple Friend........

    Come to Yahoo! Answers page............

    Login your ID & Password..........

    Then click on your Avatar..........

    Then click on "My Questions"..................

    Then click on the Question that you like to extend an Expiration...........

    Then click on "Edit" Option near the Pencil mark symbol........... ( Option will be under your Question )

    Then click on "Extend Expiration"................

    You are done !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    But the Question be in Open... If your Question Resolved or is it in Voting section... You cannot do this....

    Click on the question you have asked -> click edit -> click "extend expiration" -> click submit.
