Gaining weight is not a bad thing and as long as your doctor doesn't say that it's too much then I wouldn't worry about it. What you can do though is try to eat healthy and smaller portions. Sometimes after I eat I still feel a bit hungry but I know that I already ate too much so I either just don't eat or have some fruit instead. It doesn't sound like you have gained too much though.

Eat fruit for snacks. Also, drink lots of water. Sometimes you will fill up on water and need less food or none at all. Eat healthy food. When you eat meals, make sure you have veggies. Limit the food you eat. Remember that you're pregnant. When I get hungry, I eat a banana, apple, toast, cereal, etc. Other than that, I eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

hun, I gained 35 kilos with my 1st. lost it all in 6 months. 20 kilos with my second and lost it all within 4 months. I have gained 8 kilos so far with this one and am only 16 weeks however I was only 43 kilo to begin with. Just eat healthy most of the time and you will be fine. DONT deny yourself food whatever you do

small amounts every 2-3 hrs will keep you from feeling like you're REALLY hungry and over eating. Make good choices

    whole grains

    fresh fruits

lean protein (3oz of lean meat)

low fat dairy products (provides calcium and protein)

and lots of dark leafy veggies! (as much as you want raw or steamed)

watch out on the portions and snack on healthy things, almonds, raisins, celery and natural peanut butter

*I am learning this over again myself. I highly recommend the book "healthy expectations"

It's ok to eat when you feel hungry but eat the right things :)
