Which way is cheaper for replacing a bumper? Buy it online and have shop paint it or order same color in shop?

Hi, thanks for opening this question. So I got into car accident today and I am in need of new bumper. I am trying to come up with cheapest solution since I am Asian and I ain't got no job. Since my friend's dad is an auto mechanic and he said he will be able to do it for free. So here's my question. Is it cheaper to buy bumpers from online (costs about 100 dollar) and have it painted on the shop (costs about 100 dollar as well) or is it cheaper to go to Auto shop or dealership for a bumper replacement with same color? If you can answer it with details, I would greatly appriciate it and award 10 points. Thanks for your time and answers in advance.

Update:

Thanks for your answer Antonio. But I did make a mistake on my question. I was just going to order the painted bumper ONLY from the auto shops or dealerships and have my friend's dad replace it. But I guess it does not make difference since bumpers do not come painted to begin with?

believe me . You have more luck than most. Buy th bumper online and have your friends dad do it for free. The bumpers at the dealership or autoshops don't come painted. You will be charged an arm and a leg for both jobs. Parts and labor. Forget the dealership altogether. They hardly ever honor any warranties. They always have an excuse not to pay. You will have to pay them out of your own pocket.
