Ipod Nano (2nd Generation) PROBLEM syncing.?

ok,so today i tried syncing my ipod nano and it wouldnt work. i have limewire+itunes. You know how the lil icon of your ipod comes up?well it doesnt come up for mine.+idrk why. please i need help.if you try to help you get 10 pts :)

    ok fortunate i got here cuz i'v positioned linux on my first gen nano and upgraded to a 2 gen. No both gen linux have not got here out yet. Im guessing they attempt to locate yet differently round itunes 7 cuz they have block'd linux
