7 months with cramps needs help?

I'm 7 moths and I have been having cramps they feel like the cramps you get before your period starts I was so worried that i went to the er and they told me i was dehydrated I have been drinking water like crazy and today they are back I don't want to run to the er ever 5 Min's it costs way to much what should I do I'm getting freaked out does anyone know whats going on with my body? thank you very much

    Could this be more an Electrolyte imbalance?

    That can definitely cause cramps.

    If things haven't been explained well enough,don't be afraid to ask exactly what you should do.

    Don't over drink water ,just find out more about electrolytes and normal levels when Pregnant.

    I Found a paper on this subject in pregnancy - it's in Adobe format, so to read it you'll need acrobat reader.

  • I have never ever heard of cramps from dehydration, but cramps this far along is fine, any time is fine as long as they are not extremely painful and causing bleeding, you may also be having braxton hicks which are pre contractions, this doesn't mean your in labor its just something that happens naturally thats why its harder to tell later on if its real or not. But if your worried you can always just call a triage nurse at the hospital? They should have those there.
