Do Americans really believe that genital mutilation is okay?

This practice is promoted by selfish doctors who only want to make money. And in Islam you do it for religious reasons. One of my friend had his penis circumcised and he regrets it. He says he can't even feel anything when having sex or masturbating.

I probably shouldn't answer because I'm not American, but circumcision should be a personal choice made by the owner of the penis involved. Even if it's for religious reasons, it's horrific to inflict that kind of mutilation on a child too young to be aware and make an informed decision to allow or reject it.

I know... It's insane. Who the hell would want to do that to their child? When you remove the foreskin, you lose so many nerve cells... There is a huge loss of sexual pleasure... Why would anyone want that for their child? That is illegal in my country...

And how do you know women can't feel the difference? Was there a scientific study done? Did they get an uncircumcised male to have sex with 5 different women, then circumcise him and make him do it again? The way sex feels depends on the individual.. And of course you don't feel like you've lost sensitivity - you've been circumcised all of your life...

Male circumcision and female "circumcision" are barbaric practices.

doctors want to make money so they spread bs warstories about how dangerous this foreskin is

moms want to impose their cosmetic preferences on their babies without consent

religious nuts think that their fairytale sky daddy wants their sons foreskins

and guys dont want to wash their penises so the solution is just to cut off the foreskin

lets cut off the boobs of baby girls that way we reduced the chances of breast cancer... excellent

and instead of teaching african men to respect their women and stop raping children lets circumcize the men instead to reduce hiv/aids

i was circumcised and I like my penis. i can see why women hate being circumcised, but I like my circumcised penis. uncut penises look like anteaters, yuck
