Moto2 Entry list (MotoGP)?

After reading the entry list for the Moto2 season

http://www.motomatters.com/news/2010/01/27/provisi...

I was wondering if you had any Dark Horses in there.

Its an open book as there is nothing really to gauge things by, do you go for a rider who has riden the big 4 stroke, or stick with a fast 250 rider or a upcoming 125 rider.

here is my dark horse

48 SHOYA TOMIZAWA JAP TECHNOMAG-CIP SUTER

http://www.shoya48.com/ENGLISH/index.html

I dont know what he was doing last year,

2008 2nd All Japan road race 250s

2007 8th 250s & 3rd 125s same season.

I will be routing for Scott Redding as the only Brit. But will be watching number 48 with interest too.

Who or what stands out for you ?

Update:

Hi Wiggysan, 4 thumbs down for a perfectly reasonable (and only answer ! )

Answers gone daft, or have you been upsetting people again ..?

Update 2:

Well the thumb fairy is certainly earning its money on this question.

I'm betting its one of those who think Moto2 is something to do with MX racing, and cant understand the question. any takers ?

Right now to upset a few people

Elias will do nothing for the first half of the season claiming it takes him that long to sort the bike out, then when he realises he yet again doesn't have a job in 2012 will suddenly run at the front and impress people.

Those who have gone for the Suter chasis (virtually half the field)will discover midway through the season it doesn't work as well as they hoped and Suter will have no answers for them just like MuZ and Foggy Petronas.

Takahashi will go well on the Tech3 bike and with a point to prove after being dumped for Talmaschi's money last year.

Redding has the potential to go well, lets hope he lives up to it.

The only thing for certain is it will be won by someone riding a CBR600RR Engined motorcycle faster than anyone else and Honda will make loads of money, the AMA did try to get involved but couldn't convince Dorna Harley engines were the way to go.

hi Proc There are 6 communities with motorcycles in the two moto2 and motogp suitable classification. - Scot - Pramac - Aspar - Gresini - Emmi Caffe Latte - Tech 3 which could be good and undesirable. i think of it would be good for the riders looking a progression direction during the communities of their pursuit of a 800cc seat. as properly the communities might share components and recognize how between their moto2 and motogp team. on the different hand we observed what surpassed off with Hayate, they desperate to concentration on Moto2 and scrapped thier MotoGP challenge as Moto2 is extra much affordable. So the hazards of communities folding on their precise classification projects and stay in easy terms in Moto 2 might injury the fied length interior the suitable classification. we choose extra makes in touch in this so observed as " international classification" The 250´s have this year in easy terms 3 manufacturers. not sufficient (IMHO) to contemplate this classification as a prototype formula.

Going to stick my neck out and say Tiger Toni & Debon.

Ellias knows all the tracks and his team. As for the bike, well stepping down from a ( non updated ) 09 RCV to a ' little ' 600 should be easy.

His build was always better for a "250 ". Did you know that Michelin [remember them] used to make an almost QT tyre on the front, as a race tyre? Just because he is so light, he could push to get the right heat in it.

    Not even Dani needed that!

As for Alex, the years will help him.

Mr R will be better suited the ' 2 ' more so then his 125. Even qhen he won at Donny in 08 he was too tall for his bike. Reminds of Chaz when he was riding the Telkor Falecie Harada RSV 250. The bike was a decade old and Chaz about 1ft to tall.

At first my " 2 stroke 4eva " hat was firmly on, but now I cant wait for the Moto2 class. Nice that they all have yellow tyres too. How many teams will ask just for Birminghams rubber? ALA RockStar Suzuki 08.

[ hi Proc...it's an open book as you say, but i am intrigued by the two Vladimirs..the one Leonov comes by way of the Supersport 600 i believe, and is riding a Suter.. the other Ivanov i'm not sure of his background but riding the Moriwaki are the two that i shall be watching.

I think Elias could be favourite as Wiggysan says, fascinated by what he said about Elias's front tyre, that may explain why it took him a while getting to grips with the Bridgestones last season..i'll get out of the way now while the thumbs downers enjoy themselves....<^><..
