My SIMS 2 game is giving me trouble :(?
My sims 2 would not start running, i would put in the disk then click the icon and it said to put in the correct disk then try again. however, i had the correct disk in. just to be sure i put in every other sims disk and it still did not work. i tried uninstalling and then reinstalling. that did not work either. i uninstalled successfully, but when i put in the disk to reinstall, nothing popped up!
Please help me this is really frustrating and i am craving this game. haha.

is the game scratched?
try the game in another pc or laptop. if it does not run then its the disc.
pop disc back in,
then go to start, my computer then your cd/dvd drive.
right click on it and select open.
there will be an icon called autorun or launcher or sims2.exe,
double click on one of these and see if the game runs
