dont pick just cause its the coach of the team you root for... who has most improved a club?

    Jacques Lemaire... how much he has improved New Jersey is phenomenal...

    Barry Trotz, Nashville Predators. First and only coach of the club. Now in his 12th season. No one does more with nothing in the NHL. The best coach to never have won the Jack Adams Award.

    I have to say Joe Sacco, and it's not because I'm a homer.

    He has been a large factor in pulling the Avalanche from last in the conference last year to 3rd this year, and it's his first season as an NHL coach. I'm impressed by the fact that he's done more for this team than all the efforts of Joel Quenville did when he was our coach.
