how to repair a scratch/crack in glass lens?
I just noticed today that my glasses have a scratch/crack in the lens. They're a heavy frame and not very thick lens. I put them in their case for safe keeping until I can get something to fix it. (Yes, I am using my old ones and I know that's horrible for my eye sight but I'd like to be able to see.)
I just need to know of some kind of product (preferably cheap) that may help or keep it from cracking worse? Maybe some kind of spray or cleaner or something like that. I'm not wanting a home remedy I want an actual product that I can get from a drug store, walmart, or something.
No, they're like two years old. I don't have the money to buy a new pair at the moment.

If the glasses are relatively new, some of the places guarantee them for a certain amount of time, but if they really are glass lenses (not that common) they might not. I don't think there is anything that is going to fix a crack in a glass (or plastic) lens. There are products that are supposed to fix scratches in plastic lenses, but I don't think they actually work all that well. It is possible to just get that one lens replaced, instead of buying entirely new glasses.
