Your router will have configuration option in it that will allow you use static Ip's rather then DHCP. Simply type your Default Gateway Address* into your internet browser and enter your user-name and password for the router. If you haven't already set a password, by default it is usually along the lines of "admin" and "password." If you aren't sure you can search your routers manufacturer for the default password settings on their router.

Within the configuration page (on mine it is under LAN setup) there should be a check box option to turn DHCP on or off.

    * Your Gateway Default Address can be found by pressing Start>Run>type "cmd" and the command prompt will open up. Type "ipconfig" into the command prompt and scroll up to find the IP address of your default gateway.

EDIT: Rute, he wants to use static internal IP addresses. His ISP would only charge him if he wanted to use a static external IP address.

You answered your own question. You want static, but you currently have dhcp. Therefore, you cant have static. You can call and ask for a static ip, but expect your isp to charge you more for that service.
