What are some good web developer conferences?
I am an interactive developer/user experience architect. I primarily use PHP (Zend Framework and Code Igniter), Flash, and Javascript (MooTools and Jquery). I recently have started at a company that has the budget to send me to a couple conferences a year if the schedule aligns. I only know of a few larger ones like SXSW, Zendcon, and FoWA. I am curious if anyone else knows of some decent related conferences that are pretty interesting. They can be anywhere as long as the primary language is English for my sake, I will just have to make a stronger case if they are overseas. (but it would be awesome to go back overseas)
Thank you!
Also, before I get the stereotypical "Conferences are just a waste of money... buy books... etc" I don't feel that way. You get to hear from seasoned pros, network with other agencies/people, have face to face discussions about topics, and etc. And on top of it all, it is basically a vacation away from the office. Books and the internet are nice, but meeting others in real life can have a lot of value as well.

I personally love Java, so I'd have to say Java One.
The problem with most conferences, is that they are rather high level or for the uber geek.
Java One has days where you can go and write code. If you have never programmed Java before, probably not a good option.
I've been to a few Conferences and being a seasoned Java Developer, I found this the best use of my time.
