If nothing really was true then that would equally apply to the statement "Nothing is true" which would mean the statement "nothing is true" would itself be untrue, which is impossible since that would be an internal contradiction. Conclusion: It's impossible for nothing to be true and hence the question is moot and to consider it would be like trying to contemplate a square circle.

To say that nothing is true, is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say that everything is permitted, is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic.

    "Nothing is true."

That is an enigmatic statement. If truth does not exist, then that statement is true. If that statement is true, then something true, which would contradict itself.

If this is in the Bible, then I would like to see where. Many times the whole passage must be read to understand.

all are true and the proof is there. As for permitted, the path is there, eventually you cross it

That is a license to sin doctrine of demons. Demons want people to go to hell with them. Demon doctrine says you can do whatever you like to do. But it might cost you your soul in hell.

1 Timothy 4:1 - Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. ~ Note: Paul sounds like he's really trying to get the point accross by stating "the Spirit expressly says." With this kind of language, we better pay attention. The word for giving heed also means to turn the mind to, give attention to, to apply one's self to, to devote thought and effort to. So don't give much attention to people who tell you that you can not lose your salvation. People who are devoted to teaching the Once Saved, Always Saved false doctrine have definitely given heed to deceiving spirits. They paid attention to misleading, corrupted, deceiving spirits and now they may be departed from the faith. The word for depart also means to desert, to fall away, become faithless, to withdraw one's self from. Either way that you look at it they stop having faith. So be careful of deceiving spirits and keep the faith. Real faith that is, not one of an imposter.

It's usually a straw man argument, arguing that - if there is no God - everything is allowed as there is no moral standing. However, such proponents usually over look that Morality has nothing to do with God, as sociologists and psychologists have constantly proven.
