Has anyone heard about British Airways?

striking again. The last I heard there was to be a strike vote in January, but I can't find any information about what's happening.

Thanks

Oh you can find loads of information on the provided link. It's a discussion forum for BA staff and also some passengers.

Yes, they are currently having a ballot, asking union members if they support a strike or not. The ballot will close Feb 22. It is very possible that this will end in a: "Yes to strike".

The union must give one week notice before the strike so earliest possible strike date is March 1. If the union repeats their tactics from the previous strike attempt, it will be at least 10+ days of strike. All flights the first two weeks of March are in danger.

It is also possible that the union and BA comes to an agreement and the strike is void.

It was found to be illegal in courts so was stopped from happening.

The unions were found to have serious and substantial irregularities in the ballot which had allowed people who had left BA to vote on strike action.
