do 5th graders need cellphones?

my dad won't let me get one, so i want to show him I need one!

    depends you could use one in emergencies but believe me once you get one its a huge responsiblity if you lose it thats it

    well i got one for my 3rd grader if you are on sports or in girl scouts or something where you go out alot then yes and tell them its for emergencys and you should get one or at least a prepaid one

    If you live close to school or they pick you up you definitely dont need one.

    Maybe when you reach JHS maybe you will.

    I don't think you need one. Maybe if you ask him on ways you can prove yourself that you are mature enough to deserve one, he may reconsider.
