No. Jimmie and Chad are on top of their game. They have been for a while. With the no testing policy the larger teams have the advantage. The smaller teams will never catch up. Just when they do start to catch up then NASCAR will change something again and the larger teams will have the advantage again.

Eventually Jimmie Johnson will have a season where he does not win, but it will be at least five years and three championships later. The reason will be losing Chad Knaus to a management position within Hendrick (not Hendricks) Motorsports. Johnson will have a year or two to acclimate himself with a new crew chief and maybe have a few good seasons, then retire. I really don't see him sticking around and riding around in circles like DW did, as much as the Jimmie haters would love to see him do. Be happy for the guy, if it were your driver you not be sick of seeing him win all the time.

Chad Knaus is the key to the 48 team. Remove him from the picture and I bet Jimmie Johnson loses most of his power. Johnson appears to have a virtual lock on Martinsville Speedway. There's two wins a season right there, plus he's not too shabby at the rest of the tracks. I think it'll be a few years before we see Johnson ever go winless.

No. He has the best crew chief out there and they are the best team in all of NASCAR. I can see him slowing down in a season and maybe slightly missing the chase (because of inconsistency), but I do not think he'll ever go a season without winning a race. (Until he's older and runs a part-time schedule)

it probably wont be for a while but there is a chance he will
look at gordon when he was winning 8-10 races a year nobody thought he would go as long as he did
so yes I think at some point in his career he will go a season without winning a race

Yes He will. Everyonebody goes atleast one season usually. After 10 or so years, they'll be alot of new racers, with higher talents, maybe. This generation it's Jimmie.

jimmie johnson would never lose the chase, because he has won 4 champion chip trophies. He can make it to the chase and win his 5th champion chip trophy. He has a good race car, every year that he races he'll make to the chase over again.

Hendricks has an edge at the moment, Knaus is the best in the garage and Johnson is on top of his game. So I'm thinking it might be a few years before he goes winless. On the other hand Knaus is known to be "creative" with the rules and if he gets busted and suspended for what should be a season based on passed offenses, its anyones guess.
Johson could have a horrible season by his standards and still make the chase. And once he gets in, he is the "Undisputed King of the Chase" and should be the favorite.
For the record: I can't stand Johnson or any other Hendricks drivers! (14&39 included!)

I'm starting to get sick of him myself, even though I'm a huge Hendrick fan. But I don't think this will happen until when? maybe 2015!! Nobody knows for sure when it is, because we're talking about the future here that can be pretty unpredictable. Possibly 2010? 2011?

It would be totally priceless if he and Knaus did not win a race this season. It would be even better if he finished outside the top 20
