Is there method to do a dynamic page transition for the web?

Is there a way to go from (for example) pageone.html to pagetwo.html with a wipe effect, to the left going forward, and to the right going back?

    Microsoft IE does a few of the transitions. Visitors to your site w/o InternetExploder won't see the transition. What you are asking will eventually combine with client-side Rich Internet Applications, ie Silverlight, Flash, JavaFX.
