average violin repair price?

hey all,

I was just curious if you could give me some past experience prices you may have had on the following repairs:

a note too is that I currently own the fittings I want to use.

Cracked peg box

new pegs (including drilling the pegs and reaming or filling/reaming the bushings)

new fingerboard (including plane and fitting i would imagine)

Just want to get an idea for a baroque setup idea I am having :)

Update:

fingerboard and pegs are fine - i am just upgrading them.

It really depends on your instrument.

If your instrument is relatively cheap, or medium priced, I can guarantee that buying a new instrument for 1000-5000 dollars is way better.

If your instrument is irreplaceable or very expensive, you should consider fixing it, but it really varies on the instrument.

If your fingerboard and pegs are broken, the only intact thing is the body and bridge i belive?

If this is so, consider buying a new one
