The real truth is that you're right about the Republicans and wrong about the Democrats..

The Democrats just want to spout some pretty rhetoric about "the people" and DO the SAME thing.

I deny that as not being even close to the truth. The Republicans were the ones that signed the first civil rights act, the republicans signed the clean water act, the clean air act. The republicans have created jobs, and increased productivity, to deny those truths is just lying to yourself.

Although I lean towards the democrats (lesser of two weevils in my opinion), neither truly works for they people.

They are all under the influence of corporations in one form or another. The people vote for their favorite personality and the corporations/unions take over from there.

I deny that what you are saying is the truth. Republicans do not want to own big government control. We want the freedom to have the opportunity for all people to succeed.

Democrats want big government to control us, our property and our hard earned money. At least the progressive movement is trying to make us akin to Venezuela. Just look at your president and his ideology.

it is way more complex than that. And generalizations don't really work. Not all Republicans nor all Democrats think alike.

There are more than just republicans and democrats. Most voters don't put themselves into either of those two pigeon holes.
