What percentage of babies and toddlers would you say are being abused by their babysitters today?

i would say that it is quite rare that u hear about cases of abusive carers. id say prehaps 1 in 20 or 30....yh people are gaining short fuses, but people wil also have CRB checks aswell so if anything in the past has happend wiv carers, then they are less likely to be hired in future with other nrseries and companies.

That may be true, but the babysitter being the one abused is 100%. Watching over someone else's kids because they are too busy doing something else and then getting blamed for everything that goes wrong is not a situation I'd want to find myself in. Look after your own kids. You had them, not me.

i would only say 10%

i mean for infants babysitting can get a bot of a bore and when the baby cries you don't always want to deal with it.

but for older children is where i think none really because they can entertain themselves and can tell you what they need or want.

i mean i had anger problems but i'm still a babysitter when i feel stressed or like lashing out i stand out side the door and take deep breaths to stop myself lashing out at the kid but i doubt i would ever i go soft around kids.

did you have a bad expeirince with a sitter or are you looking in the wrong places...i would never take my anger out on a child...llook in your church or neiborhood for babysitters....cause i dont know where you are finiding yours...........

I would say about .5% or less.

Nasty, nasty child.....most people are good...if you feel you could put yourself in that ninety per cent....STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
